ONTARIO ICEWINE: intense flavours, rich bouquet and unsurpassed smoothness. It's taken centre stage in the most prestigious international wine competitions and wowed the critics. It's our "liquid gold" and nobody does it better.

ONTARIO'S ICY GIFT TO THE WORLD
Take pride in our freezing weather (even if you're not a winter lover). It's one of the reasons why we produce the world's finest Icewine year after year. To produce Icewine, winemakers protect selected vines after the fall harvest and wait for the sub-zero temperatures (-8° C and lower) when they will be picked in their frozen state and gently pressed to release a highly concentrated juice.

Did you know? It takes about 3.5 kilograms of Riesling grapes or three kilograms of Vidal grapes to produce one 375-millilitre bottle of Icewine. The same amount of grapes would produce six to seven times as much table wine.
